History

Takagi Machinery Co. came into existence in 1946 in Shizouka, Japan and in 1952, the company creates a new subsidiary Takagi Industrial Co. where the first prototypes of tankless water heaters are manufactured. In 1963, it creates the first automatic ignition system and in 1980, it creates a milestone when it develops computer modulating gas valve and safety system.

T-KJr Takagi
This particular model of Takagi water heaters is the smallest unit in the complete product range and is ideally perfect for small and light residential applications. Though small, this model is packed with a bunch of powerful features that makes it quite a powerful unit too.

This tankless water heater model can offer gas inputs up to 140,000 BTU per hour and can easily meet the requirements of one or two bathrooms. T-KJr offers an energy factor of between 0.81 and 0.83 and is extremely cost-efficient and environmental friendly.

T-KJr2-IN/OS Takagi Water Heater
T-KJr2 belonging to Takagi tankless water heaters is available in two models and both the models are completely environmental friendly. The T-KJr2-IN can also be turned into a direct vent unit by utilizing the optional TV10 conversion kit for installation. This range of Takagi water heaters comes with four preset temperatures that include 113°F, 122°F, 131°F and 140°F.

This lineup of Takagi hot water heaters is also ideal for radiant heating applications and can provide sufficient hot water. The flow rate can vary depending whether it is a cold or a warm area and the maximum GPM can easily go up to 6.6 GPM.

Takagi T-K4-IN/OS
This range of T-K4 models offer an extremely impressive maximum GPM of 8.0 GPM. It comes with a built-in power venting system that was specifically created for outdoor installations. This range of Takagi hot water heaters do not need any additional category III venting or even vent caps thereby making it more convenient to easily install and use.

Alternately, the option of installing it indoors also exists with the availability of DV kit. The minimum natural gas unit is about 11,000 BTU and this can go up to a maximum of 190,000 BTU. The minimum natural gas pressure inlet is about 5.0” WC and this can increase to a maximum of 10.5” W.C.

Takagi T-K3
This model of Takagi water heaters is known as Revolutionary T-K3 and is considered to be one of the most powerful yet extremely flexible residential units. This particular model is only 13.8 inches wide and therefore it can even be dug in between wall studs to ensure more space savings.

It can easily be installed and fixed in a parallel manner to up to three other units without using any additional control box and it can also be converted into a direct vent model in installations within the house. Its flow capacity is sufficient enough to meet the requirements of different types of high volume residential applications.

Tankless Takagi T-D2-IN/OS
This Takagi hot water heater model was specifically created to meet the requirements of light commercial applications. It is also perfect to be used in small restaurants and beauty salons.

This water heater is equipped to increase the max flow rate at 10.0 GPM and it also includes all the features of the extremely well known T-K3-Pro model. The minimum input through natural gas is 11,000BTU and the maximum input is 199,000BTU. It works through electronic ignition and requires electric supply of AC120V (60Hz).

Takagi Tankless Water Heaters T-K3-Pro
This professional model was designed to serve the purpose of light duty commercial applications and is known to offer an extremely durable and a high quality product. This particular unit uses copper alloy for heat exchanger tubing and can also be used at home for space heating and recirculation systems.

T-H2
This model of Takagi tankless water heaters is only available in direct vent or outdoor only models. It comes with a 2nd generation high efficiency tankless unit that is regarded as one of the most efficient units in the industry. It is designed to suit the purpose of both residential and commercial use.

It is designed in a manner to provide at least three showers of water simultaneously along with only one applicant at a temperature of 60°F. Featuring gas input of a minimum of 13,000 BTU and a maximum of 199,000 BTU, and it can easily deliver 9.0 gallons of hot water per minute.

T-M32
This model was specially created to match the requirements of heavy-duty commercial applications and it comes equipped with true commercial grade components and it also features both easy-link and multi-link to meet large requirements.

The T-M32 can easily offer up to 240,000 BTU and up to a maximum of 9 GPM. It does offer plenty of flexibility as it can be installed indoors, outdoors or even with a direct vent all with the same unit.

T-M50
The T-M50 under Takagi hot water heaters is quite a new model and is also known as the Monster since it was designed keeping in mind the requirements of heavy-duty commercial applications. It can also be easily-linked and multi-linked to meet extremely high demands and also comes with a dual-combustion system..

It can be connected to up to 10 units and can generate over 140 GPM through the use of a multi-controller unit. The dual-heat exchanger ensures that even when one system goes down, the other system still continues to function. This Takagi water heater is designed to offer eight new dip switch temperature settings and accurate control of the water valves.
